Description

Milan Illustrator is proud to announce a contribution of illustrated works to The Birmingham Art Book.

The latest release in the City Art Book Series celebrates Birmingham through the eyes of its artists.

Courtesy of the www.thecambridgeartbook.co.uk:

‘Emma was assisted in selecting images for publication by a panel of city and art experts - an essential part of the editing process, which is used for every book.

Following the success of The Cambridge Art Book, which shows the city through the eyes (and using a wide variety of different techniques) by over 50 artists, The Oxford Art Book was published in 2018 followed by The Edinburgh Art Book, The Liverpool Art Book and The Dublin Art Book. The Bristol and Bath Art Book will be published in 2021 with The Birmingham Art Book to follow in 2022.’

The Birmingham Art Book includes contributions by Dame Julie Walters and Frank Skinner. A star-studded array of endorsements have poured in the for City Art Book Series, including Sir Paul McCartney:

“‘How completely magnificent’”
— Joanna Lumley
“‘If you love Liverpool then you’ll love this wonderful book’”
— Sir Paul McCartney
“‘There’s a feast within these pages, celebrating the great city of Oxford and the artists it inspires; open your eyes and rejoice’”
— Claudia Winkleman
