Originally opened in 1935, Droitwich Spa Lido was pumped with diluted brine - containing a ratio of salt ten times stronger than sea water - from local streams and heated to the exact temperature of the Mediterranean Sea.
The original art deco building still exists and Droitwich Spa Lido continues to attract thousands of yearly visitors, nestled in a stunning green parkland.
